There has been a lot of debate about whether Facebook is making us less or more social. I think it depends on the person using it. Some people are content to stay at home and read about their friend’s lives on-line instead of meeting them for lunch or a cup of coffee, but now they have daily updates and feel more connected.
For me, it helps stream-line my busy life. I can check how everyone is doing with a quick glance in the morning. I do still pick up the phone and say “Hello!’ but on facebook I can see pictures of things happening now that I might have missed before or waited weeks for them to get downloaded and then emailed.
Any thoughts? What is your experience?
