I grew up watching The Jetsons on Saturday morning cartoons. The Jetsons was originally supposed to take place in the year 2062. (Thank you wikipedia for that information)
This was the beginning of my love for Sci-Fi. On The Jetsons, when people called you on the phone, you could see them on a TV screen. I was amazed by that invention.
Skip ahead 20 or so years…
Thanks to Skype, I can see my Mom over 6000 miles away and she can see me real-time. I can checkout her new hair cut and she can tell me I look tired or that she likes my new eye shadow. I guess I got to be Judy Jetson after all, now if I could just get that flying car.
